About Us
Following his retirement from the government, Joe
spent two nine-month terms teaching English as a
Second Language at a large electronics factory in
Nove Zamky, Slovakia. He was in Slovakia when the
nation of Czechoslovakia was divided into the Czech
Republic and the Slovak Republic on January 1,1993.
Both Joe's mother and grandmother often wrote and
read poetry to the four children. So at the age of 19,
Joe began writing poetry himself. He has had printed
four small books of Christian poems which he has
distributed to family and friends. Now he has found a
publisher who will publish in one volume all of Joe's
poems. The title of the book when completed will be:
THE BIBLE IN POETRY. There will be well over 100
poems in the new book.
